If you have a sweet tooth in Kelowna, allow us to introduce you to Ciara, the heart and hands behind Doll House Bakery. Her love for baking began in childhood, learning side-by-side with her mom, who filled their home with homemade cakes, pies, and holiday treats. Those early memories of flour-dusted counters, warm ovens, and family traditions has became the foundation for the passion she carries today.

When Ciara later moved to Kelowna, baking resurfaced as a comforting hobby. She began sharing her creations casually on Instagram, never expecting that her personal passion would naturally grow into the thriving business that Doll House Bakery has become.
The true story of Doll House Bakery is rooted in creativity, nostalgia, and a deep appreciation for quality. From a young age, Ciara watched her mom pour love into every handmade dessert, shaping not only her baking skills but her values: craftsmanship, patience, and the belief that food has the power to create memories. These influences followed her through life even as she spent nearly a decade working as a stylist and educator in the hair industry. Though her career path eventually shifted. Today, she channels that same dedication to detail, artistry, and customer care into every treat she bakes.
For Ciara, baking is far more than producing cookies it’s about creating an experience. She believes customers should feel like they’re enjoying something special with every bite. As she describes it, her goal is to “make every order feel personal, memorable, and worth coming back for.” And the difference is unmistakable. Each cookie is crafted by hand inserts, toppings, and all. She focuses on quality ingredients, thoughtful recipes, and generous portions to ensure every cookie tastes as good as it looks. It’s the kind of small-batch, handmade difference you can truly taste.

Seasonal creativity has also become part of Doll House Bakery’s signature charm.
Every season brings new flavours inspired by what’s fresh, fun, or nostalgic. This summer brought the Peach Crisp cookie, packed with local Okanagan peaches. But the cookie that started it all was the iconic S’Mores Cookie. Loaded with semi-sweet and milk chocolate, Teddy Grahams, and finished with a perfectly toasted marshmallow, it’s no surprise it became a bestseller almost instantly.

Creativity, quality, and community are the pillars that guide Doll House Bakery.
Ciara takes pride in highlighting local and seasonal ingredients whenever possible, celebrating the flavours of the Okanagan while creating treats that bring people together. For first-time customers, she emphasizes that every order is made in small batches, curated with care, and crafted to feel like not just another cookie off the shelf.
Ciara also loves experimenting with flavours that spark nostalgia or seasonal excitement, often creating combinations people didn’t even know they needed. And with Christmas right around the corner, Doll House Bakery is gearing up for a lineup of cozy, festive flavours perfect for holiday gatherings, gift boxes, or enjoying by the fire during a holiday movie night. If you’re curious about what’s coming, keep an eye on Doll House Bakery’s Instagram.
For anyone in the Okanagan looking for gourmet, homemade treats made with intention and heart, Doll House Bakery is a true standout. Each cookie is a reminder of what can happen when creativity, passion, and quality ingredients come together.
