Splish Splash, Fizzing Up the Self Care Game | BoostBC Local Spotlight
Do you ever start a new hobby, and love it so much it becomes your business? Well that is exactly how it happened for Marie and Lynne at Splish Splash Bath Bombs! Marie was simply looking for a Christmas time hobby, and asked her mom (Lynne) to join her, excited for the opportunity to spend more quality time with one another. The two have always worked well together and this has been no different. Pretty soon, they had a full-time job on their hands.
"It is a way to spend more time together. Now we see each other almost everyday as it is a full time job."
This mother daughter duo sells their bath bombs at The Kelowna Farmers & Crafters Market from April to end of October every Saturday, as well as over 100 locally owned store across Canada and USA. They also attend many Christmas markets across the Okanagan, but this year they will be scaling back and focusing more on wholesale, making their bombs more accessable for their loyal customers.
They are a proud local business, and most of the ingredients they use is sourced from a family run operation right here in Kelowna, and the molds are printed using an in house 3D printer. They support locally when they can by donating products to different fundraisers either through the markets they attend, schools or local sports teams.
"Our customers that we see weekly make it great! They come to see which new bombs we have and give us ideas for new ones. Seeing some of our young customers grow up for the past 8 years has been amazing too. Being part of the Farmers Market has shown us how wonderful our community is and we are so grateful to be part of this family."
The most popular bath bomb with the customers is the Minecraft Creeper. Marie personally loves the Groot and Jason Knife. But they have a wide variety of fun bath products to spice up your self care day. From Bath Bombs, Mini Bath Bombs and Shower Bombs to Bath Wands and even Beard Oil. Each one bursts with vibrant color, beautiful fragrance and playful design, turning ordinary self care into an immersive, relaxing experience. Each bath bomb is made with care, and carefully hand painted, making each one a unique piece.

Their first Market of this year will be opening day of The Kelowna Farmers Market outdoor season April 4 2026, and they cannot wait to see all their customers smiling faces again.
