Years ago, during a 90-day work assignment in Regina, Saskatchewan, the founder Evan found himself in a new city without knowing anyone. Missing the sense of community that came from playing sports, he caught himself thinking, “I wish there was a way I could find people to play basketball with while away from home." That same night, sitting in his hotel room, the idea began to take shape. He came up with the name, drafted the first logo, and started writing out the ideas that would eventually become SHIRTS N' SKINS

Evan felt there was never a place for people to find any sporting events or games conveniently one place. That is where SHIRTS N' SKINS came to be. The core problem the app addresses is bringing people together whether they are new to an area, traveling abroad, or simply looking to build new connections nearby. With SHIRTS N' SKINS, finding a game, discovering activities, connecting with new players, or organizing sporting events of any kind is easier and more convenient than ever before. Evan states "With SNS, finding a game, activity, new players, or organizing any kind of sporting-type event, has never been easier or as conveniently accessible."

The app is designed with simplicity in mind, making it easy for anyone to jump in and get started. Setting up an account takes just a few quick steps, and once a profile is complete and a location is entered, users can instantly see others nearby who are looking to join a team or game. If no existing options are available, users can easily create their own event.
